The MultiPlus can prevent overloads on a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power. First, it will automatically reduce the battery charge when failure to do so would result in overcharging. Secondly, it will draw current from the battery to compensate for generator or shore power.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Uninterruptible AC power (UPS function)<\/span><\/h3>\n
In the event of a blackout or disconnection of the shore power or generator, the inverter integrated in the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to feed the connected consumptions. This occurs so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to function without interruption.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
